Morpheus8: A new way to microneedle

While you might have heard of microneedling, Morpheus8 takes microneedling to the next level. This device uses radiofrequency energy to heat the face, neck and body, giving it a desirable, youthful glow.

Morpheus8 reaches the deepest layers of the skin and works to stimulate the production of collagen. By targeting these deep layers, areas of the body that see wrinkles, discoloration or even acne scarring will benefit.

Morpheus8 remodels skin and tissue types with minimal risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Since burst technology targets tissue sequentially at three different levels, it is said to provide a significant reduction in treatment time, minimizes skin injury and increases treatment uniformity.

When combining both rejuvenation technologies, (the tiny needles mixed with the radiofrequency energy), the treatment is able to successfully cover the dermis and epidermis of the skin. This results in deeper remodelling and improved effects.

With Morpheus, you can expect between one to three sessions, each one month apart, with visible differences appearing three weeks post-first treatment. These results will continue improving with each treatment and can last up to a year.

After the procedure, patients should continue to moisturize and apply sunscreen. Since there’s very little downtime, makeup can be applied one to two days following the treatment. While the length of treatment depends on the individual and their needs, typical treatment time runs about an hour and a half long per session.

Because Morpheus targets a broad range of skin colours and concerns, a consultation is definitely advised before booking your sessions. While most can benefit from this treatment, it certainly might prove to be more advantageous to some than others, depending on the goals that need to be met.
